Kim Tae-Ho's Art Until Now Can Be Divided Largely Into Three Time Periods And Methods. First, There Is The Series On, Which The Artist Began Making In The Late 1970s And Continues Even Today Since The 1980s. Second, There Are Works On Paper, Which He Attempted In The Late 1980s. Through This, He Developed The Full Compositional Style Of Painting And As Entering Into 2000, His Third Approach Sought Out For Meticulous Internal Rhythm In Grid Formation. His Art World As An Artist, Who Has Pursued A Career For More Than 30 Years, Is Comparatively Simple. In Other Words, Transitions In His Method Of Working Were Not Extreme. In Some Ways, This Can Be Seen As Proof That The Artist Has Remained True To Himself, Even More So When We Particularly Consider The Climate Of Korean Modern Art In The Last 30 Years. The 1970s, The Period When Kim Tae-Ho Began His Career As An Artist, It Was A Time That Avoided Uniformity In Illusion As Korean Modern Art Took On An Austere Monochrome Construction. Therefore, It Is A Surprising Fact That In Spite Of Such Circumstances He Was Able To Immerse Himself In Form.
Many Critics Have Stated On Kim Tae-Ho That He Has "Exhaustive Temperament Of A Craftsman" Pinpointing On His Steady Nature. He Does Not Follow Aesthetical Trends In Form, Due To His Identity. It Is Commonly Known That In The Field Of Art, Though Many Are Artists They Are Not Necessarily Skilled Craftsmen. That Is To Say, The Art Of Those Who Only Show Superficial Quality Is All Too Prevalent, While Lacking Meticulous Quality. This Is Not Possible Without Meticulous Planning And Strict Execution Rather Than Relying On Coincidences. There Is A Lesson To Be Learned From Kim's Manner Of Work, Which Can Only Be Held In High Regards. He Has Been Described As "An Artist Who, From The Very Start Of The Process, Envisions A Piece In His Head In Detail, Keeping Its Conclusion In Mind." Kim's Work From His Early Period Until Now, Consciously Maintains A Rhythm That Comes From His Thorough And Detailed Nature Of Art-Making Based On Hours Of Meticulous Labor.
