Founded in January 2016 and located in Hannam-dong, Seoul, Gallery Joeun is a contemporary art gallery dedicated to presenting distinctive artistic practices from Korea and abroad.

Gallery Joeun discovers and introduces promising artists across a wide range of media, including painting, sculpture, installation, and mixed media. Through close collaboration with artists, the gallery supports the development of their practices through exhibitions, curated projects, and participation in major domestic and international art fairs.

Today, Gallery Joeun works with artists from Korea, Japan, and other countries, presenting a diverse program of solo exhibitions, curated group exhibitions, and institutional collaborations. The gallery has consistently participated in leading art fairs in Korea and abroad, including Kiaf Seoul, Art Busan, Art Central Hong Kong, Art Miami, EXPO CHICAGO, and Art Paris, presenting its artists and curatorial program to an international audience.

As a gallery that connects artists, collectors, and audiences, Gallery Joeun is committed to creating meaningful encounters with exceptional works of art. Guided by an artist-centered philosophy, the gallery continues to present significant voices in contemporary art while expanding its role within both the Korean and international art markets.

서울 한남동에 위치한 갤러리조은은 2016년 1월에 설립된 현대미술 갤러리입니다.

갤러리조은은 한국과 해외의 유망한 작가들을 발굴하고 소개하며, 회화, 조각, 설치, 혼합매체 등 다양한 장르의 작품을 선보이고 있습니다. 작가와의 긴밀한 협력을 바탕으로 지속적인 전시와 국내외 주요 아트페어 참여를 이어가며, 작가들이 더 넓은 무대에서 성장할 수 있도록 지원하고 있습니다.

현재 갤러리조은은 한국과 일본을 비롯한 여러 국가의 작가들과 함께하며, 개인전, 기획전, 기관 협업 프로젝트 등 폭넓은 전시 프로그램을 운영하고 있습니다. 또한 키아프 서울, 아트부산, 아트센트럴 홍콩, 아트마이애미, 엑스포 시카고, 아트파리 등 국내외 주요 아트페어에 꾸준히 참가하며 한국 현대미술과 갤러리 소속 작가들을 국제 무대에 소개하고 있습니다.

갤러리조은은 작가와 컬렉터, 관람객을 연결하는 플랫폼으로서, 좋은 작품이 더 많은 사람들과 만날 수 있는 기회를 만들어가고자 합니다. 앞으로도 작가 중심의 운영 철학을 바탕으로 국내외 미술 시장에서 의미 있는 역할을 이어가겠습니다.
