일상에 담긴 보편적인 감정을 표현하고자 현대인의 일상을 주제로 작업을 진행하고 있다.
우리는 비슷한 모습으로 반복되는 일상을 살아가지만, 그 안에는 각자의 이야기가 담겨 있다.
사람들과 함께하는 순간에도 혼자 있는 시간에도 우리는 그 속에서 다양한 감정들을 경험한다.
그 감정이란, 함께있는 즐거움일 수도, 때로는 평온, 내면의 공허함일 수도 있다.
작업 속 인물들은 현대인의 평범한 일상 속 모습을 보이고 있다.
길을 걷거나, 앉아서 휴식을 취하는 등 주변에서 흔히 볼 수 있는 순간들을 보내고 있지만
그 안에는 각자가 느끼는 감정과 시간이 흐르고 있다고 생각한다.
모자이크로 표현된 인물의 일부는 포토샵의 투명 레이어에서 보이는 모자이크 패턴을 차용한 것으로, 투명함을 인식하게 만드는 아이러니를 담고 있다.
동시에 모자이크는 익명성을 상징하는데, 결국 우리가 누구든 될 수 있다는 가능성과 동시에
누구도 우리의 진짜 내면을 쉽게 알 수 없음을 말한다.

My work centers on the daily lives of contemporary individuals, through which I seek to express the universal emotions embedded in everyday existence.
Though we live similar lives marked by repetition, each person carries their own unique story within that routine.
Whether in moments shared with others or in solitude, we each experience a wide spectrum of emotions—joy in connection, moments of peace, or at times, an inner emptiness.
The figures in my paintings portray these ordinary yet emotionally resonant moments of modern life.
They may be walking down a street, sitting and resting—scenes commonly seen in daily life—but within these familiar moments flow individual emotions and the passage of personal time.
Parts of the figures are depicted in a mosaic pattern borrowed from the transparent grid used in Photoshop layers, creating a subtle irony: a visual that represents invisibility yet simultaneously draws attention to it.
This mosaic also symbolizes anonymity. It speaks to both the possibility that we could be anyone, and the impossibility of fully perceiving someone’s inner truth.
In this way, my work reflects the emotional landscapes that quietly emerge through the cracks of ordinary life.
